Washington.- He American president, Donald Trump, criticized this Tuesday the "boycott" against Elon Musk and Tesla, whose stock market is plummeting, promised to buy one of those electric vehicles to show his support for the tycoon, who is "risking everything" as part of his government.

"To Republicans, Conservatives, and all Americans. Elon Musk is risking everything to help our Nation and is doing a FANTASTIC JOB. But the Radical Left lunatics, as they often do, are illegally and in a coordinated effort to boycott Tesla, one of the largest automakers and Elon's 'baby,'" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

"I'm going to buy a new Tesla tomorrow morning to show my confidence and support for Elon Musk, a great American. Why is he being hurt for using his tremendous talent to help Make America Great Again?" Trump said.

The US president, who has repeatedly acknowledged that he does not like electric cars, compared the attacks to Musk, the founder of the fuel cuts initiative Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), with the attacks he suffered during the 2024 campaign.
