Our History
De Último Minuto Media is a multiplatform news outlet offering digital and television news content. It is the news outlet with the fastest growth in audience and engagement in the shortest period of time in the history of communications in the Dominican Republic and the entire Caribbean.
The platform was launched on June 23, 2021, as a digital newspaper with a presence on websites, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music.
Our social media debut was with over 20,000 followers on the first day, growing to over 800,000 followers and over eight million monthly interactions in just two years.
The Board of Directors is chaired by Santiago Matías (Alofoke), founder of this project.
De Último Minuto is directed by journalist, documentary filmmaker, and digital marketing expert Héctor Romero, co-founder of the outlet, who has been responsible for composing the editorial and multimedia team.
To date, the news portal offers its followers and visitors written, video, and audio content.
In August 2022, the De Último Minuto TV division began, a space for television programs, radio and podcasts, among which are: "Noticias De Último Minuto", "A la Clara with Ramón Tolentino", "Más De Un Minuto", "Una Copa con Giselle", "Politikal", among others, broadcasting on television on channels 56 of Wind Telecom, Telecable Puerto Plata, Cablevisión, Color Cable, Bloom Telecom, among others.
