Annasofia and Andrés Cepeda join voices in "Estamos a Paz"

Miami, FL.— In an encounter that unites two generations and key moments in Latin music, the Colombian artist recently nominated for best new artist at the Latin Grammy Awards, Annasofia, presents “Estamos a Paz”, an intimate bolero pop with Andrés Cepeda, one of the most emblematic voices of Latin music. The song addresses the end of a love story that faded over time, in which both recognize their flaws and manage to leave behind blame and resentments, to achieve true peace.

"Andrés and I have had this song for three years," Annasofia expressed, adding that she wrote it after they met on social media and she was invited to sing on his tour. "I wrote this song with the Jacobs and felt that Andrés could fit in perfectly there. From the first moment he said let's go for it; it didn't happen for thousands of reasons and three years later, at a very special moment for both him and me, we meet again." The production was carried out with the help of the renowned producer Julio Reyes Copello and also features string arrangements by the Vienna Symphony, making the piece a particularly careful and emotional production. Musically, "Estamos a Paz" fuses the nostalgia of the bolero with the sensitivity of contemporary pop, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere in which the voices of Annasofia and Cepeda dialogue in depth while singing to the end of a relationship with an interpretation full of feeling. The music video reinforces this intimacy, showing the artists at a romantic dinner where the candles have burned down and feelings are laid bare on the table. "For me it's beautiful because this song, and especially the video, show me the image that the best way to get over heartbreak is by crying on Andrés Cepeda's shoulder. He has been a huge support and knowing that I can count on him, and that it's a genuine relationship, is for me the most special thing, even beyond the song," added the artist. For Annasofia, “Estamos a Paz” arrives at a key moment in her career. The Colombian artist has recently been recognized as one of the most outstanding new voices in Latin pop, with a nomination for Best New Artist at the Latin Grammy Awards, performances on high-profile stages such as the Best New Artist Showcase, and her participation as a performer in official events during Latin Grammy week.

She was recently selected by Billboard as a Latin Artist to Watch in 2026, a select group of artists predicted to have great success this year. In addition, her debut EP Primer Intento consolidated her artistic identity and her ability to connect with an audience seeking honest and emotional songs.

Collaboration with Andrés Cepeda, one of the most respected voices in Spanish music and recently nominated for a Grammy in the Best Latin Pop Album category for BOGOTÁ (Deluxe), represents a natural intersection between the classic sensibility of the singer-songwriter and Annasofia's narrative freshness, resulting in a song that connects with those who have loved from uncertainty and have had to learn to let go. "Estamos a paz" is now available on all digital platforms and is shaping up to be one of those songs that promises to remain in the repertoire of the great contemporary boleros.
