Madrid.- Ticketmaster has sent EFE a statement this Thursday in which, in light of the investigation announced by consumer affairs following the complaint from OCU and other organizations, defends itself against criticism for its management in the sale of tickets for the ten concerts that Bad Bunny will hold in 2026 in Spain.
Firstly, it is denied that there have been «dynamic prices», which are those tickets whose value self-regulates based on demand. «The ticket prices were set in advance and did not change during the sale process,» it is stated.
The statement also denies that there were any hidden additional costs and emphasizes that "the total price, including all fees, was shown to consumers from the beginning, "even while waiting in the virtual queue".
"Extraordinary" Sale
Ticketmaster has recalled that the sale was "extraordinary", with more than 600,000 tickets sold in a single day for 12 stadiums, which "broke all live music records" in Spain.
On May 9th, the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) filed a complaint with the Subdirectorate General of Inspection and Sanctioning Procedure of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs for what it considered an "irregular and abusive charge".
Among the aspects that were highlighted, it stated that there were expenses such as management fees which, in addition to being passed on to the user and not the seller, "are usually hidden until almost the moment of payment".

It was also reported that the company does not consider them refundable, so the user loses any right to recover their amount if they are forced to request a change or a refund, as well as the fact that there were "dynamic prices".
Following this complaint, the Ministry of Social Affairs, Consumption and 2030 Agenda announced the opening of an investigation.
Ticketmaster, which declares itself "fully committed to transparency, fan protection, and achieving a fair and secure ticketing experience for everyone," has stated that it will cooperate in this investigation.
