Subway stations close their doors for "Christmas Eve"

Santo Domingo. - Santo Domingo Metro stations closed their doors right on the Christmas Eve festivities this December 24, which has also caught the attention of some users who come to use this service.

In that sense, it is worth noting that the Office for the Reordering of Transportation (OPRET) announced through its official Instagram account that for these Christmas celebrations there will be a special schedule for the operation of the Metro.

For December 24th and 31st, the service will be available from 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM, on December 25th and January 1st, 2026, it will be open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Regarding the Cable Car, it will remain available on December 24th and 31st from 5:30 in the morning until 8:00 at night, while for December 25th and January 1st, 2026 it will be open from 8:00 in the morning until 9:00 at night.
