From Madrid, journalist Cristian Santana connects Spanish cuisine with Dominican seasoning in "Sabor de la Calle"

Madrid, Spain.- Dominican journalist Cristian Santana presented a new installment of his program Sabor de la Calle, this time broadcasting from the city of Madrid, where he toured some of the most emblematic gastronomic points of the Spanish capital, combining local tradition with the authentic flavor of the Dominican community abroad.

During the tour, Santana visited the historic Chocolatería San Ginés, an establishment with more than 130 years of tradition, recognized for its classic thick chocolate accompanied by churros and its uninterrupted 24-hour service.

In the report, the communicator highlighted the high demand for the place, especially in winter, when thousands of servings are served daily to tourists and Madrid residents who brave the cold to enjoy this experience. Likewise, the journalist stopped at the traditional Casa Labra, famous for its croquettes and cod fillets, considered by many to be among the best in the city. There he documented the busy atmosphere and the enthusiasm of visitors who queue to taste one of the most representative flavors of Madrid's gastronomy. The tour also included a visit to one of the popular ham museums, where Santana highlighted the culture of sharing tapas, Iberian ham, Spanish omelet and beers in an environment that favors conversation and social gathering. But the delivery was not limited to Spanish cuisine. In the Cuatro Caminos sector, known for its active Dominican community, the communicator visited the restaurant El Mojado, owned by the Dominican businessman Ferrer. There he tasted the traditional "mojado", a combined version of the Dominican flag that includes rice, beans or pigeon peas, meat and salad, consolidating itself as a reference point for Dominicans residing in Spain who seek to reconnect with the flavor of their land. With this edition, which featured production by Bali Visuals, Cristian Santana reaffirms the focus of Sabor de la Calle: to tell stories through gastronomy, exploring how flavors connect cultures and keep traditions alive, even thousands of kilometers from home. The full episode is available on the official YouTube channel of Sabor de la Calle, where the audience can enjoy this special edition made from Madrid and other tours that highlight the gastronomic richness inside and outside the Dominican Republic.
