The MAP indicated that the measure seeks to safeguard the integrity of public personnel, reducing the risk of accidents and inconveniences in displacement due to urban flooding and sudden rises in rivers, streams, and ravines. The organization recalled that its role as the governing body of public employment and administrative career systems empowers it to establish special provisions in emergency situations. Authorities urged public servants and the general citizenry to remain attentive to official information and follow the recommendations of civil protection agencies.
