Santo Domingo.- In an evening where technical perfection merged with social commitment, the main hall Carlos Piantini of the National Theater Eduardo Brito was the stage for the charity gala "All Beethoven", organized by Promoción Apec (Promapec), the event not only filled the audience's ears with glory, but also raised funds for the institution's training programs. The night came alive under the experienced direction of maestro Amaury Sánchez, who led an imposing Santo Domingo Philharmonic Orchestra composed of 72 musicians. The highlight of the first part was the majestic Piano Concerto No. 5 in E Flat, "Emperor". The young Latvian pianist Daumants Liepiņš, just 31 years old, demonstrated why he is considered one of the most insightful performers of his generation in Europe. With interpretative force and unique sensitivity, he dominated the Steinway & Sons concert piano - donated by the León Jimenes Foundation - achieving a performance of the highest level that drew prolonged ovations. After the intermission, the orchestra returned to perform Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, "Eroica", closing a program entirely dedicated to the genius of Bonn with a sonic precision that left its mark on the national classical scene.

Beyond the musical notes, the backdrop of the gala was social transformation. During his speech, Guaroa Noboa, president of the board of directors of Promapec, highlighted the deep connection between the composer's work and the institution's mission.

"Beethoven not only revolutionized music; he revolutionized the way of understanding the human condition. His work is an affirmation of freedom, effort, dignity and overcoming adversity", Noboa expressed before a room packed with personalities and allies.

The executive emphasized that the success of this fundraising will allow for the strengthening of technical training scholarships in areas such as pharmacy, computer science, accounting, audiovisuals, among others, aimed at Dominicans with limited resources.

"Every contribution made tonight translates into equipped classrooms… and, above all, into lives that find new opportunities to grow with dignity," Noboa pointed out.
