According to sources consulted by LA RAZÓN, the derailment would have occurred when a wall fell on the train. The lead cab would be destroyed and the driver has needed medical assistance from the passengers themselves. On the other hand, it is indicated from civil protection that at least twenty people would be affected. As explained by Adif, circulation is interrupted between Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Martorell Central, of the Rodalies de Catalunya core, caused by the collapse of a wall near the infrastructure due to the storm. On the other hand, another R1 train between the Maçanet and Blanes stations derailed hours earlier, with ten passengers and no injuries.
