U.S. President Donald Trump, stated that the Gaza conflict has come to an end. He said this aboard the presidential plane Air Force One this Sunday, during his flight to the Middle East to finalize the agreement between Israel and Hamas.
Responding to a question about it, the president reiterated: "The war is over, okay? Do you understand?". Likewise, he stated that the new Gaza administration would begin working "very quickly".

This Friday, after more than two years of severe bombings of the Palestinian enclave by the Israel Defense Forces, a ceasefire came into effect between Hamas and Israel. The diplomatic breakthrough came after several days of indirect negotiations with international mediation and thanks to Trump's efforts.
In addition, Israel and Hamas are preparing for an exchange of hostages and prisoners as foreseen in the first stage of the US president's peace plan. The pact also contemplates the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the area to an agreed line.Trump's first stop will be Tel Aviv, where he will hold a meeting with the families of the hostages and give a public speech before the legislators of the Hebrew country in the Knesset (the Parliament of Israel).
Then he will go to the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh, where a Middle East Peace Ceremony will be held to formalize the peace agreement in Gaza.
