Santo Domingo. The twelfth edition of the traditional Carrefour 10K race was officially announced during a press conference held at the Downtown Center shopping mall, where executives from Carrefour Dominicana offered details of the sporting event that will take place on Sunday, April 26, at 7:00 in the morning.
True to its commitment to the well-being, health, and healthy recreation of the population, Carrefour is working on the assembly of this new edition corresponding to the year 2026, in which the participation of about 3,500 runners is expected.
The race will start again from Downtown Center, located on Nunez de Caceres Avenue corner Romulo Betancourt, from where the participants will run a new route that will include sections of Anacaona and Jimenez Moya avenues, descending towards the Malecon of Santo Domingo until reaching the finish line on George Washington Avenue, at the height of Vista del Mar park, thus completing the 10 regulatory kilometers.
