Breaking News receives three nominations for the 2025 National Digital Journalism Award

Santo Domingo.– The multimedia news outlet De Último Minuto was once again nominated for the 2025 National Digital Journalism Awards, organized by the Dominican Digital Media Observatory, reaffirming its position among the country's fastest-growing and most innovative platforms. In this eighth edition, which recognizes the work of journalists, digital media, and content creators, De Último Minuto is featured in the categories of Best YouTube Channel, Best Native Digital Newspaper, and Best Innovation Project in Digital Media. These nominations highlight the sustained development of the medium in audiovisual production, real-time coverage, explanatory journalism, and the creation of new formats adapted to mobile and global audiences. The director and general manager of De Último Minuto, Héctor Romero, stated that these distinctions represent "a recognition of the continuous work of a team committed to informing with truthfulness, speed, and a modern vision of digital journalism".

"These nominations confirm that we are on the right track. We will continue to raise our standards, betting on more audiovisual productions, new technologies and coverage that connect with Dominicans inside and outside the country," he added.

During the last year, De Último Minuto has expanded its live presence, strengthened its national and international coverage, and diversified its news offerings with special broadcasts, interviews, analysis, and real-time reports from different points in the country and abroad. The awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 25, at 6:30 p.m., at the Indotel Center in the Colonial City, where the winners of this edition will be announced.
