Karol G's sister speaks out after family controversy

Santo Domingo.- Amidst the public controversy generated by the statements of the sister of the Colombian artist Karol G, Verónica Giraldo, in which she accused her family of domestic violence and conspiracy to take her daughter away, Jessica Giraldo published a message on social media in which she asked for respect and empathy in the face of the family situation they are going through. Through an Instagram story, Jessica expressed that in recent days, publications related to Veronica have been circulating, and she assured that the family is facing a "very sensitive and difficult" moment, which they have been trying to handle with discretion and respect for some time.

"Our priority at this moment is for her to receive the support and attention she needs, and to protect her well-being and that of her daughter," states the statement shared on the social network.

Also, the family asked for understanding while facing the situation privately. "We ask for empathy, respect, and understanding as we face this as a family. Thank you for the affection and for always accompanying us with so much love," concludes the message. The pronouncement comes after Verónica Giraldo made live broadcasts in which she spoke about the legal conflict she faces with her ex-partner over the custody of her daughter, generating widespread repercussions on social media.
