Santo Domingo. - The deputy Ignacio Aracena stated that Santo Domingo Oeste ceases to be the "Cinderella" of development with the opening of Line 2C of the Santo Domingo Metro, a work that will directly and positively impact the quality of life of more than one million citizens.
The legislator expressed his satisfaction with the inauguration of the new section of the railway system and thanked President Luis Abinader for prioritizing an investment long awaited by the residents of this demarcation.
"Thank you very much for listening to the hearts of the people, for believing in the investment so that Santo Domingo Oeste stops being the Cinderella," Aracena expressed.
The deputy highlighted that Line 2C is part of an integral mobility plan. Likewise, he positively valued the government's willingness to offer the subway service free of charge from Wednesday, February 25th until Easter, inviting the population to use a transport that he defined as safe, modern and reliable.

Aracena assured that the opening of Line 2C, which connects Los Alcarrizos with the rest of the system, puts the Dominican Republic on par with major cities around the world in terms of mass public transportation.
Line 2C, inaugurated by President Luis Abinader, connects 14 densely populated communities along the Duarte highway and has five stations, which will significantly reduce travel times and transportation costs for thousands of users.
