Russian forces struck railway infrastructure and long-range drone storage and launch sites, Russia's Defense Ministry reported this Wednesday.
On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, Ukrainian forces lost around 1,500 military personnel, as well as a tank and 14 armored combat vehicles, Defense indicated. In addition, air defense shot down 357 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions during the night.
Earlier this week, the Ministry had already reported on the impact on Ukrainian infrastructure. These actions take place at a time when the Ukrainian Army is in a critical stage.

Combat-ready units, let's say, are today equipped at no more than 47-48%," Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed out at the beginning of September. "This is already a situation on the very brink of critical," the leader added. In this context, he added that "all groups of the Russian Armed Forces are advancing successfully in all directions."
