Sheinbaum calls for calm after federal operation and reports of blockades

Mexico. – The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, reported that the Secretariat of National Defense reported an operation carried out this Monday morning by federal forces, which resulted in various blockades and other reactions in different parts of the country. Through her social media, the president assured that there is "absolute coordination" between the federal government and state administrations, while urging the population to stay informed and calm in the face of the situation. Sheinbaum indicated that the official platforms of the Security Cabinet offer permanent updates on the events and stressed that, in most of the national territory, activities are carried out with full normality.

The Chief Executive also expressed her recognition to the Mexican Army, the National Guard, the Armed Forces and the Security Cabinet for their work, reiterating that her administration works daily for the peace, security, justice and well-being of Mexico.
