Water leak reported in Los Alcarrizos

Santo Domingo. - Residents of Duarte Street, corner Caridad, in the municipality of Los Alcarrizos, reported a persistent leak of water due to a breakdown that, far from being resolved, has worsened over the days. According to the neighbors, the water gushes uncontrollably, forming a sinkhole that poses a danger to pedestrians and drivers. Residents say they have taken multiple steps to fix the problem on their own and that even CAASD personnel came to the site, but left without offering a definitive solution, leaving the road open and the water waste in plain sight. The situation generates outrage in the eyes of all passersby, who point out the contradiction of seeing how large quantities of the precious liquid are lost, while in other sectors of Los Alcarrizos the service arrives irregularly or, simply, does not arrive.
