Santo Domingo.- The singer Romeo Santos took advantage of his speech when receiving the award for Tropical Artist of the Year at Premio Lo Nuestro to send a firm message in defense of the Latin community in the face of the migratory situation in United States.

“There is no organization or department that, if it harms my Latino community, will have my respect,” stated the interpreter, while reaffirming his unconditional support for immigrants and his willingness to continue raising his voice in their defense.
His statements were met with applause from the public and add to the positions that the artist has previously expressed in favor of the rights and dignity of Latinos abroad.
