Santo Domingo.– The Miss and Mister of Dominican Republic organization officially launched its concentration week, marking the beginning of a new stage in the country's beauty pageants.
Alejandro Martínez, one of the event directors, reported that throughout the week the candidates will participate in various activities, including talent competition, "head to head" dynamics, interviews with the jury, photo sessions and multiple challenges that are part of the evaluation process.
For his part, Jorge, also director of the contest, highlighted that this edition represents a "new era" in beauty pageants in the Dominican Republic, driven by a generation committed to positively transforming these platforms. He pointed out that the contests constitute a powerful tool for the development of youth, providing opportunities both personally and professionally.

Among the main novelties, they announced that for the first time the country will receive the official visit of the Mister Global organization, one of the most important male contests in the Grand Slam category. The current titleholder of the contest, from Thailand, will be present in the Dominican Republic as part of the activities, which represents a significant event for the international projection of the event.
The organization announced that there will be important surprises and international guests, reaffirming its commitment to raise the standard of national contests and strengthen the country's image on global stages. The directors reiterated that, although beauty pageants have faced criticism in the past, they continue to be a platform for empowerment and growth for Dominican youth. In that sense, they called for supporting these types of initiatives that promote the talent, preparation, and national and international projection of their participants. With enthusiasm and commitment, the organization welcomed what they define as a new stage for beauty pageants in the Dominican Republic.
