Through his account on the social network X, the president highlighted the talent and dedication of the Dominican team.

The Dominican selection advanced with authority to the semifinal round after defeating South Korea by knockout 10 runs to 0 in the quarterfinals, ensuring its return to this instance of the tournament for the first time since 2013.
