Dominicans and Cubans finished with four wins and two losses, but in the tiebreaker criteria, Cuba finished in first place and qualified directly for the World Cup in Italy in 2026.
Now, with this second place, the Dominican Republic could also go directly to the World Cup if the Pan American Baseball Confederation does not organize a repechage with the countries that finished second and third place in the three pre-World Cups scheduled in the American continent.
