New York.- OpenAI's popular chatbot, ChatGPT, will reach 700 million weekly active users this week, representing a more than fourfold year-on-year growth, the company announced on Monday.
"This week, ChatGPT is on its way to reaching 700 million weekly active users, an increase from the 500 million (weekly active users) at the end of March and quadruple that of last year," wrote Nick Turley, ChatGPT's Vice President of Product, on his X account. "Every day, people and teams learn, create, and solve more complex problems. It's an important week! We thank the team for making ChatGPT more useful and for fulfilling our mission so that everyone can benefit from AI," he indicated in his message. This figure encompasses all artificial intelligence products of ChatGPT (free, Plus Pro, Enterprise, Team and Edu) and coincides with the surpassing of 3 billion daily messages from users, according to the company. The company that created ChatGPT, led by Sam Altman, nearly doubled its revenue in the first seven months of the year, reaching $12 billion in annual revenue, as reported last week by The Information. You may be interested in: An international study concludes that AI chatbots like ChatGPT do not generate addiction
