Salma Hayek becomes a grandmother for the first time
Mexican actress Salma Hayek became a grandmother for the first time following the birth of the son of her stepson, François Pinault Jr., and model Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.
The couple, who made their relationship public last Valentine’s Day and got engaged just a month later, surprised everyone again by announcing that they are now parents. Lara Cosima shared several photographs on social media with her husband and their baby to celebrate their first month as parents.
“My husband (the coolest François in the world) and our son (the cutest François in the world). Our first month as parents,” the model wrote when introducing the little one.
The baby is named François, following a family tradition, as he is the third generation to share this name. His father is the son of François-Henri Pinault, chairman and CEO of the French conglomerate Kering, owner of renowned luxury houses such as Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, and Balenciaga.

François-Henri Pinault has been married to Salma Hayek since 2009, so the birth makes the actress a grandmother for the first time. The arrival of the baby also makes Valentina Paloma Pinault, daughter of Hayek and Pinault, an aunt.
