Santo Domingo.- The court hearing the case of baseball player Wander Franco, confirmed a serious irregularity in the handling of evidence related to the judicial process.
According to official findings, one of the vehicles seized as part of the investigation was misused by an assistant of the Prosecutor's Office of Puerto Plata.

According to the information provided, the vehicle was moved on several occasions using a license plate different from the original one, which represents a direct violation of the established protocols for the custody and preservation of assets under the control of the Public Ministry.Judicial authorities detected the anomaly after a routine review of the inventory of seized goods, and managed to verify that the car had been repeatedly moved with the adulterated license plate, thus compromising the integrity of the evidence.
