Open Justice Conference enters its final stretch with a plenary session on the future in Latin America

Santo Domingo.- The First Open Justice Conference continues this Thursday on its second and last day with the final phase of its agenda. Starting at 3:00 p.m., the plenary session titled "The future of open justice in Latin America: challenges and opportunities" is scheduled, where the participation of international experts and representatives from different countries in the region is expected. In this space, the main challenges of judicial transparency, the need to strengthen citizen participation, and the technological advances that can transform the administration of justice will be addressed. The commitments that will be reflected in the Declaration of Santo Domingo, a document that will serve as a roadmap for the coming years, will also be projected.

With this plenary session, the conference culminates two days of debates, panels, and working groups in which topics such as artificial intelligence applied to justice, the use of open data, judicial ethics, and the importance of clear language in court decisions were discussed.
