Israel.- Mexican Michelle Eady, a resident of Israel, recounted how she lives day to day in a country facing constant threats. She acknowledges that there are moments of fear and anxiety, especially when the alarms sound in the middle of the night and she must run with her young children to the shelters.
However, she feels safe and protected living in a place that has invested so much in defense and in the care of its citizens. "I know we are going to be okay," she commented, highlighting the effectiveness of the early warning systems and the security measures implemented throughout the territory.
During the conversation, Michelle sent a message to her family and to Latin Americans interested in knowing the Israeli reality. She invited them to visit the country and live the experience in person, as she claims it does not compare to what the international media transmits.
For her, the key is to base opinions on knowledge and not on perceptions distorted by political or media interests.“There's a lot that isn't told, and each medium shows what it wants to show. The important thing is to get information from various sources and listen to both sides”, he pointed out.
