The card for this year's Christmas Bonus is Mastercard

The physical card through which the Dominican Government will deliver a bonus equivalent to RD$1,500 pesos this year will be Mastercard, unlike previous years when they were Visa. Mastercard cards are widely accepted at millions of merchants and contain additional security measures against fraud and loss. The Government will deliver approximately 1.1 million cards to the same number of people, starting December 4, and during the rest of the Christmas season. The Government has said that the logistics for the distribution of the cards with the Christmas Brisita will be carried out through the governorships, neighborhood councils, mayors' offices, and the Social Policy Cabinet.
