Tamara Martínez will face trial after a complaint by Gabi Desangles; court imposes coercive measures

Santo Domingo. - Today, a preliminary hearing was held regarding the civil complaint filed by Gabriela Pérez Desangles against Tamara Martínez, in which the lifting of Tamara Martínez's default was known, declared for not having appeared at the previous hearing, instructing the knowledge of said complaint. The Magistrate who has heard the case, valued with merits the complaint filed by Gabi Desangles against Tamara Martínez, highlighting that it complies with the legal and evidentiary requirements of the accusation.

After the intervention of the parties, the Magistrate decided to accept the accusation presented by the Public Prosecutor's Office, as well as the complaint with constitution as a civil actor filed by Gabriela Pérez Desangles. In addition, she imposed on the accused Tamara Martínez coercive measures consisting of (i) financial guarantee (ii) prohibition of departure (iii) periodic presentation, issuing an act of opening to trial, sending the file to trial on the merits.
