The head of the National Health Service, doctor Mario Lama highlighted that these and other significant advances experienced by the health sector directly affect the quality of care offered to the population and mainly impact four fundamental dimensions: access, equity, safety, and user experience. "These actions have reduced gaps between provinces, decreased waiting times, transportation costs, and geographical barriers, ensuring that populations in vulnerable situations have wider access to essential services, which represents a concrete step towards a closer and more universal system," Lama pointed out.
