Hillary Clinton insists she did not know Epstein and criticizes Congressional questioning

New York.- Former U.S. Secretary of State and former First Lady Hillary Clinton insisted this Thursday that she never personally knew Jeffrey Epstein nor had any kind of connection or communication with him, and criticized her questioning today before a Congressional committee for being "repetitive and unproductive".

"I never knew Jeffrey Epstein," Clinton reiterated in statements to the press after his appearance before Congress from Chappaqua (New York), the town where he resides with his wife, former President Bill Clinton, who is scheduled to testify tomorrow before the same committee.

In her statements after the session, Clinton was blunt in denying any personal connection or criminal knowledge about the pedophile: "I don't know how many times I had to say that I didn't know Jeffrey Epstein. I never went to his island. I never went to his house. I never went to his offices". On the other hand, the former official maintained that most of Epstein's contacts were unaware of his crimes: "I think it's fair to say that the vast majority of people who had contact with him before his guilty plea in 2008 were like most people: they didn't know what he was doing." "The vast majority of people who had contact with him before 2008 didn't know what he was doing," he reiterated.
