The move was finalized through a trade with the Leones del Escogido, who receive outfielder Jerar Encarnación. Domínguez, known as "El Marciano", is considered one of the most electrifying prospects in current baseball and belongs to the New York Yankees organization. At just 23 years old, the switch-hitter combines offensive power, speed, and solid outfield defense. During spring training with the Yankees, Domínguez has performed outstandingly by leading the team in RBIs, with a batting average of .333, an OPS of 1.010, and three home runs in 11 games. The gardener also participated in the Dominican league last season, when he played 11 games in which he hit seven hits, including three doubles. For his part, Ramos is a young pitcher belonging to the San Francisco Giants organization. In 2025, he recorded an ERA of 2.64 in the minor leagues and made a good impression in his brief stint with Escogido, where he pitched four innings without allowing runs and struck out five batters. The Eagles' baseball operations management expressed enthusiasm for the arrival of both players, noting that the move seeks to strengthen the team's young talent and keep the club competitive in the coming seasons. Likewise, the organization thanked Encarnación for her dedication and professionalism during her time with the yellow team, wishing her success in this new stage of her career with the Escogido.
