Dominican Republic national baseball team and
United States national baseball team in the
World Baseball Classic could become “the game of the year”, due to the high competitive level of both teams.

Rodríguez highlighted that the clash promises to be one of the most electrifying of the tournament, especially due to the duel expected on the mound, where the American
Paul Skenes would face the powerful Dominican offense, which he described as "the best lineup in the world" at present.
The former analyst expressed his enthusiasm for the match between two of the championship's favorite teams, highlighting the quality of the players on both teams.
"What a damn game," Rodríguez expressed when describing the anticipated duel, making clear the appeal of this match within the tournament.
