Cousins reported missing in Santiago; one is a 4-year-old child

Santiago. – Two cousins, one just four years old and the other a 16-year-old teenager, were reported missing by their families, who are urgently asking for help to find them. This is the child Wenzel Javier Franco Méndez, 4 years old, and the teenager Justin Francisco Almonte, 16, the latter with a history of mental health problems and in the process of rehabilitation for substance use, according to their relatives. According to family versions, both minors were last seen in the Los Salados sector, in Santiago, in circumstances that have not yet been clarified. At the time of his disappearance, little Wenzel was wearing a white t-shirt, dark blue shorts and black sandals. While Justin was wearing a red hat, black t-shirt with a white stripe, blue shorts and white crocs.

Family members indicated that, after reviewing a tablet belonging to Justin, they found conversations with a TikTok social media profile identified as "Jhonathan Martinez Martinez". According to the messages, the teenager had been coordinating a possible trip to Santo Domingo. This information has generated concern among those close to them, who fear that both minors are at risk and are calling on the population so that anyone who has information about the whereabouts of the minors should immediately contact the phones 809-664-8505 and 829-360-0034. They also urged to share the information to broaden the search and facilitate the prompt location of Wenzel and Justin.
