The President of the Republic will meet this Tuesday, the 31st, with representatives from various industrial and commercial sectors with the aim of guaranteeing the stability of prices for food, products, and basic services in the face of the prolongation of the international crisis that impacts the prices of oil and its derivatives, in order to protect the country's consumers.
President Luis Abinader's meeting is scheduled for this Tuesday, March 31st, starting at 4:00 PM at the National Palace and seeks to dialogue with business and commercial leaders about the need to protect the economy of the different sectors of the population, and most fundamentally the most vulnerable Dominican population.
The Head of State seeks to guarantee the stabilization of the prices of food, products, and basic services at this time, in the face of the international crisis resulting from the war conflict in the Middle East.
In the meeting with President Abinader, the main leaders of the National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP) will participate; Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD); the National Organization of Commercial Entrepreneurs (ONEC); National Union of Economic Supermarkets (UNASE); Business Agricultural Board, among other business and commercial representatives of the country.
