Santiago.- The executive director of the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewers (INAPA), Wellington Arnaud, traveled to the municipality of Monción, Santiago Rodríguez province, to supervise the operation of the recently inaugurated aqueduct and verify its efficient functioning.
Arnaud held a meeting with community representatives and neighborhood association presidents, with the aim of listening to their concerns about the drinking water service.
During the visit, several community members expressed their satisfaction with the quality of service they are receiving in their homes after the aqueduct was put into operation.

"I moved to Duran in 2008 and had never had tap water, but now I can," said community member Agripina Almonte. In that context, the director of INAPA announced that new components will be incorporated to optimize the distribution of the service in the El Caquique and La Duarte sectors. The official was accompanied by the provincial governor Glehany Azcona, the mayor of the municipality of Mao, Johendy Jiménez, and his technical team.
