UFHEC graduates 2,185 professionals in its 48th graduation; Raquel Peña highlights its educational contribution
Santo Domingo. The Universidad Federico Henríquez y Carvajal (UFHEC) celebrated its 48th ordinary graduation, in which it invested 2,185 new undergraduate and postgraduate professionals, reaffirming its commitment to the training of human capital for the sustainable development of the Dominican Republic.
From the total graduates, 2,003 completed undergraduate programs and 182 finished postgraduate studies in strategic areas such as education, health, business sciences, legal sciences, and engineering.
The ceremony's keynote speaker was the Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Peña, who highlighted UFHEC's role as a key institution in the training of professionals committed to national progress.
"This educational institution represents a hope for the future of the nation, seeing how its legacy of excellence continues to live on in more than 2,000 new professionals ready to take on the challenges of the transformation that the country demands," said the official.
Peña also pointed out that universities should become true incubators of innovation and engines of social change, capable of driving solutions that generate well-being and employment opportunities. Likewise, he urged the graduates to pursue excellence through discipline, constant preparation, and the use of their personal strengths.
