Santo Domingo.– The Ministry of Agriculture, headed by Minister Francisco Oliverio Espaillat Bencosme, categorically denied the information spread on social media about an alleged letter attributed to the institution, which, according to what was specified, does not correspond to reality or official documents of the organization.
The entity also reported that it has instructed the General Directorate of Public Contracting, the Public Ministry, and the internal control bodies of the State to conduct an exhaustive, immediate, and impartial investigation into any allegations related to contracting processes, awarding of works, or administrative procedures within the institution. In that regard, the Ministry indicated that all files and documents related to the cases mentioned are available to the competent authorities, in strict compliance with the principles of transparency, legality, and public ethics, reaffirming its policy of zero tolerance for any irregularity.
