Los Angeles.- Mariah Carey extended her own record for staying in first place on the Billboard Hot 100, adding 22 weeks at the top with her Christmas classic 'All I Want for Christmas Is You', which continues to dominate the US charts during the holiday season.
According to Luminate, cited by Billboard magazine, Carey's song recorded 70.6 million streams and 5,000 downloads sold in the U.S. between December 19 and 25.
The singer had set the record three weeks earlier, surpassing the milestone shared by 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)', by Shaboozey, and 'Old Town Road', by Lil Nas X with Billy Ray Cyrus, with 19 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
