Samaná.- The mayor of the municipal district, Ana Reyes, reaffirmed her commitment to the protection and well-being of residents and visitors after participating in a coordination meeting with the Minister of Interior and Police, Faride Raful, along with provincial and municipal authorities.
Reyes highlighted that Las Galeras, considered the second most visited tourist destination in the region, requires rigorous planning and effective surveillance measures during Holy Week to guarantee the tranquility of the community and the tourists who choose this enclave.

The meeting, held at the Las Terrenas City Hall, brought together representatives from local institutions and security agencies, who analyzed prevention and supervision strategies aimed at maintaining calm and order in this tourist area during the holiday."From our city hall, we have been working in various coordination tables, reinforcing the presence of the authorities and ensuring that the necessary regulations are applied for a safe and orderly development of activities during these days of high affluence," said the official.
