Santo Domingo. — With more power, more attitude, and the same competitive spirit that saw it born, the MINI John Cooper Works (JCW) once again took center stage in the Dominican Republic. To celebrate this return, the brand organized an exclusive track driving day, designed to reconnect with the legacy that has defined MINI's sporting DNA for generations. Under the concept “More Go-Kart than ever”, the experience celebrated at SD Karting was an encounter where clients, special guests and influencers experienced firsthand the essence of the brand; becoming a tangible demonstration of precision, emotion and enjoyment at the wheel, attributes that MINI has transformed into a unique driving style. "With this event we reaffirm what it means to drive a MINI: agile, safe, connected and, above all, exciting driving," said Giovanni Molina, MINI manager in the Dominican Republic. The day also featured the distinguished participation of Juanchi Almonte, a benchmark in national motorsports with over 24 years of experience. Accompanying each block of tests, Almonte not only provided technical guidance, but also inspiration, connecting with the attendees from his professional experience and demonstrating that high performance is a tangible reality at the local level.

JCW: The Return of a Legend

With a history rooted in British motorsports, the John Cooper Works represents the highest-performing model within the MINI portfolio. Its return was the center of attention during the event, with test sessions organized in blocks, which included safety induction, guided tours with a lead car, and role changes between driver and co-driver. Each participant had the opportunity to directly experience what distinguishes the JCW. From its remarkable agility on every curve to the immediate response of its power, each lap was transformed into a true demonstration of its competitive character and its sporting heritage. A range that evolves with style. In addition to the JCW, attendees were able to drive other models such as the MINI Cooper C, the Cooper S, the Countryman C and the Countryman S All4. These vehicles reflect the brand's ability to adapt to new lifestyles, combining versatility, technology and design without losing its fun and provocative essence. In the exhibition area, the latest releases were presented: the MINI Aceman, a 100% electric model; the refined Cooper S and the robust Countryman S, ideal for those seeking functionality without compromising style.
