Mother voluntarily surrenders her 13-year-old son after robbery in SFM

San Francisco de Macorís. - A woman voluntarily went to the police station with her 13-year-old son, after the minor was accused of breaking into a grocery store in the Los Jardines sector, second stage. The mother explained that she was called the night before, informing her that her son had participated in the event along with another minor, so she decided to appear before the authorities to prevent anything from happening to the child and for the situation to be resolved through legal channels. He indicated that it is the first time his son has been involved in a case of this type and attributed the incident to the influence of friends. He pointed out that he does not know what was done with the stolen money, as there are versions that speak of different amounts, and asked that the case be investigated to clarify what happened.

The woman identified as Jenny, a resident of Los Jardines, reiterated that she only seeks guidance for her son and that the problem can be resolved appropriately.
