Santo Domingo. – The Jet Set Justice Movement sent a communication to Magistrate Raymundo Mejía in which it raises a series of requests aimed at guaranteeing equal treatment between plaintiffs and defendants within the ongoing judicial process.
In the document, the organization demands that access to the Palace of Justice be carried out under the same criteria for all parties, without privileges or distinctions. In that sense, they point out that the accused Antonio and Maribel Espaillat, as well as their companions, must enter through the front door, complying with the established security controls.
Furthermore, the movement requests that private security not be allowed into the courtroom, arguing that family members of victims have been denied access due to space limitations, and therefore they believe that the measure should be applied equitably.
