Santo Domingo. – The spokesperson for the National Police, Diego Pesqueira, referred this Monday to the death of the young Rancel García, 25 years old, which occurred during a police intervention in the Villa Consuelo sector, in the National District, and informed that the internal control bodies of the institution have taken over the investigations since yesterday. Pesqueira explained that a mixed patrol, made up of members of the National Police and the Armed Forces, acted at the scene, as part of the preventive work being carried out in the area. He indicated that the case is under analysis to determine the circumstances in which the incident occurred.
