The airline United Airlines suspended this Wednesday all its flights in the U.S. due to a problem with its weight and balance computer system.
"Due to a technological issue, we are holding United's main flights at their departure airports. We anticipate more delays tonight while we solve this problem," the company stated, highlighting that it will work with passengers to get them to their destinations. United Airlines indicated that the problem was not caused by a cyberattack.
The airline's planes already in the air will continue their flights until they reach their destination. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, United Airlines has already requested ground stops at major U.S. airports, such as Newark, San Francisco, Chicago, Denver, and Houston. You may be interested in: Storm causes cancellation of hundreds of flights in New York
