The United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, defended the policy of visa revocation for foreign students, warning that cancellations will continue for those who participate in acts considered disruptive in American universities, he reported in a Senate hearing.

Rubio offered these statements two days before the United States Department of Homeland Security reported that it will not allow Harvard University, the most prestigious in the country, to continue admitting more foreign students.
