Trump anticipates that he will appeal if the Harvard case judge rules against his Government

New York.- The American president, Donald Trump, attacked this Monday against the federal judge Allison D. Burroughs, in charge of his legal case with Harvard University, and anticipated that he will appeal if she issues a ruling against his Government in the hearing that is held today in a Boston court.

"The Harvard case has just been judged in Massachusetts by a judge appointed by Obama. She is a TOTAL DISASTER, I say even before hearing her sentence", wrote the president on his Truth Social network. Harvard is one of the universities whose funding has been threatened by reports from the 'Federal Task Force to Combat Antisemitism', created by Trump, in which it is accused of applying 'affirmative action' policies and not accommodating what the Government calls "diversity of ideas". Earlier this year, the Executive demanded that the institution be able to supervise its admissions, hiring, and the ideology of students and staff. Harvard opposed the requirement and the Administration announced that it would freeze more than $2 billion in federal funds for the entity, which triggered a lawsuit by the center. The Republican leader accused Harvard today in his publication of being "antisemitic, anti-Christian and anti-American", and noted that its federal funding goes "to the detriment of other schools, colleges and institutions". Furthermore, he anticipated that the judge will rule against him: "We will appeal IMMEDIATELY, and we WILL WIN, and the Government will stop the practice of giving many billions to Harvard." Boston Judge Allison D. Burroughs heard arguments on Monday from the University and the U.S. Government, embroiled in a legal dispute after Trump froze the 2 billion in federal funds allocated to the entity. During today's hearing, Burroughs, who emphasized his own Jewish faith in court, questioned the Trump Administration for accusing the entire entity of antisemitism and not specific employees who may have engaged in antisemitic behavior.

"What is the relationship between antisemitism and the cutting (of funds) of, for example, funding for cancer research?", he asked.
