Netflix renews Wednesday for a third season before the second one premieres

The series Wednesday, starring Jenna Ortega and produced by Tim Burton, will continue beyond its second season. Netflix officially confirmed a third installment before the premiere of the second, scheduled for the months of August and September of this 2025. Ortega will once again play the charismatic and dark Wednesday, while Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Unati Lewis-Nyawo also reprise their roles. In addition, one of the biggest attractions is the special participation of Lady Gaga.

With over 250 million accumulated views, Wednesday has become the most-watched English-language series in Netflix history. Its second season will be divided into two parts: the first on August 6 and the second on September 3, 2025.
