Bulin 47 on blackouts: "and this craziness with the power"

Santo Domingo. – Dominican urban artist Hancel Teodoro Vargas Reynoso, better known in the artistic world as Bulin 47, denounced the strong blackouts that are occurring in the country, while expressing his complaint and highlighting the darkness that surrounds him, “I can't even see myself.” Through an audiovisual published on his Instagram social network, Bulin stated: "I go to the neighborhood to trip a bit and look at this story and what a devilish relaxation there is with the light, it looks like a swaying little tree, get on that, one does chercha, trips and all that, but sometimes one has to pay attention, to what one has to pay attention to" said Bulin. With a tone of complaint and disgust, Bulin highlighted how the energy crisis is worsening, "this wouldn't have been seen." Meanwhile, the urban artist is another of the many celebrities who has also raised his voice for the lack of electricity that has suffocated the citizenry.

Other famous people also denounce energy crisis

The urban artist Toxic Crow exploded this Wednesday against social media for the long series of blackouts that plague the country. The urban dweller, who owns several apartment complexes, stated that he received a bill for RD$216,000 pesos despite the fact that, according to him, he goes without electricity for up to 15 hours. "Edeeste, Edesur you are all the same, with you one suffers the same, none of you are good, you know what it's like to last 15 hours with a generator running until the diesel runs out, abusers, I have properties everywhere and it's the same, there's no electricity," the urban dweller specified through his social media. On the other hand, the Venezuelan singer and songwriter Ricardo Montaner, naturalized Dominican, denounced on Tuesday night through his account on the social network X (formerly Twitter) the prolonged blackouts that affect the country and that, according to him, have reached his dream residence in Samaná. The performer of "El poder de tu amor" shared a photograph in which his wife, Marlene Rodríguez Miranda, is seen sitting at the table with a look of discontent, surrounded by candles lit due to the lack of electricity. “Samaná is the same paradise, but with blackouts it can become a hell,” wrote Montaner, while tagging the company Edenorte and asking for “HELP” to President Luis Abinader, referring specifically to the Los Róbalos community, where his residence is located.
