Rocket business incubator will boost opportunities for young entrepreneurs

Santo Domingo. - With the goal of strengthening the entrepreneurial and technological ecosystem in the Dominican Republic, Rocket was presented, an entrepreneurship center and business incubator that offers high-level intensive training, mentoring, strategic advice and access to investors. The project, aimed at young people aged 20 to 30, will launch its first group in January 2026, offering a structured eight-week training program, during which participants will receive strategic support in key areas such as business, leadership, artificial intelligence, finance, and productivity, with the aim of transforming ideas into technology-based companies. In this way, Rocket becomes a new engine of dynamism for the economy, contributing to the development of an ecosystem capable of attracting investment, generating jobs, and projecting the country on the path of innovation. During the presentation, at the Real Intercontinental Hotel, Rocket's founder, Alci Cruz, explained that the initiative is backed by more than two decades of experience in innovative training through the Conexus Educational Community. "Rocket is an unparalleled formative experience, an ecosystem for propelling people, aimed at those who want to build their own path and launch projects with global impact," he noted. The mentor network includes renowned specialists such as Luis David Sena, Génesis Nolasco, Carlos Brandt, Carlos Miranda Levy, Carlos Yunén and José Manuel Benavent, who will contribute their experience in the development of startups with investment potential.

The presentation was attended by Víctor (Ito) Bisonó Haza, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Mypimes (MIC); Octavio Landolfi, Director of Internal Trade of the MIC; Pablo Ulloa, Ombudsman, among other officials.
