Santo Domingo.– Various institutions will pay tribute and honors in memory of the outstanding political leader Vicente Sánchez Baret, whose remains will be displayed starting this Friday, October 17, 2025, from 12:00 noon, at the Blandino Funeral Home Blandino on Abraham Lincoln Avenue.
On Saturday, October 18th, a schedule of official events will be held in recognition of his public and political career. The day will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a mass for the deceased, followed by a tribute in the National Congress at 10:30 a.m. Subsequently, at 11:30 a.m., the body will be transferred to the National House of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), the organization to which he belonged.
At 12:30 PM, the departure to the Puerta del Cielo Cemetery Park is scheduled, where Sánchez Baret will receive Christian burial.
